Height-Increase Secrets

Click here for all the grow taller secrets you need in one go!

Yes there are those lucky few who have all the height they'll ever need, but if you're not one of them, it doesn't mean there's nothing else you can do to grow taller. Your height isn't necessarily stuck at what your genes tell your body, there are things you can still do to squeeze out the maximum from your growth.

If someone tries to sell you some type of medicine or drug that is supposed to work on you overnight so that when you wake up, you'll have grown several inches taller, don't be fooled. Adolescents in their growth-spurt years can experience amazing increases in height, but of course this varies widely from individual to individual. Lifestyle and habits play a big part in your physical growth, and whatever your age, these two things can be adjusted in some easy ways to get you some additional height.

The first, and probably the easiest, of these changes that you should make into a habit is to turn in early every night and get a good eight hours of sleep. Scientific research has found a strong link between Human Growth Hormone (HGH) production and sleep. It has been determined that the beginning of the sleep cycle is when HGH production is at its highest, and continues throughout the entire cycle. It won't do to be worried about the occasional late nights at the office or at a party, your body should easily absorb that, but do try to have a good night's rest more often than not. Should you find yourself at the occasional party, smoking and drinking away, just be aware that the cigarettes and alcohol will negatively impact the way your body absorbs the calcium in your food or supplements, and that can adversely affect your height-gain.

Keeping our focus on growing taller at the dining table, avoid eating too much fatty food as this will have an adverse effect also. We cannot eliminate fat completely from our diet, but too little fat is rarely the problem with the food we eat these days. Eat more of protein and calcium rich food instead of fatty food. You can get your proteins as well as many more nutrients in beans, peas, and other legumes, and milk provides a source of calcium.

The effects of regular exercise are well worth the effort, and growth in terms of height is one of the many advantages you can get with moderate weight-lifting, running, swimming, and activities of that sort. Don't forget to get a doctor's go signal though, before you start on your exercise program. The spine, legs, and joints also respond very well to stretches which should form part of your exercise program.

And finally, are you ready for a secret that will give you an instant inch or two in height, without exercise, medicine, or any change in diet? Here is the secret revealed: good posture. Pay attention that your spine is as straight as you can naturally make it, don't slouch, stand proud. Just straightening up your posture will have you grow taller by an extra inch or two.
